Making a difference in the life of a child!

The staff at Camp Gilligan Christian Day Camps are talented, creative, fun people dedicated to working with children. All staff are trained to recognize the importance of building self-confidence, learning new skills and developing great friendships. Throughout the week staff guide the children in story time, silly sing-a-longs, amazing activities, arts & crafts and best of all share with them the importance of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

 

Many parents like to know more information about the summer staff that will be working with their children. Camp Gilligan looks at a number of personal qualities that each applicant must possess and requires them to complete an extensive application process.

After an applicant is selected for hire, they are required to attend staff training course prior to the summer camp season. Staff are trained and educated in the skills needed to facilitate camp activities and programs. More specifically, staff receive training in camper interaction, including age and faith development, group games, CPR and First Aid, and much, much more.
